Welcome to the data protection page of our competence centres. The following privacy policy applies to the use of our website . This privacy policy informs you about the collection of personal data during your visit to this website. The collection and processing of your personal data is carried out in compliance with the applicable data protection laws and requirements. In principle, our dental practice only offers its services in Switzerland and is only aimed at people resident in Switzerland.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

We do not collect any personal data from you when you visit this website. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us yourself via our contact form.

A range of general data and information is collected each time the website is accessed. This general data and information is stored in the server log files. The following can be recorded: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-websites which are accessed via an accessing system on our website.(5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the internet service provider of the accessing system and (8) other similar data and information used for security purposes in the event of attacks on our IT infrastructure.

This data and information is required in order to (1) correctly display the content of our website, (2) optimise the content of our website, (3) ensure the long-term functionality of our IT infrastructure and the technology of our website and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the necessary information in the event of a cyber attack.

Furthermore, our dental practice can analyse this data and information both statistically and with the aim of increasing the data protection and data security of its IT infrastructure. The data and information collected will only be processed for the aforementioned purposes and will then be deleted.

When you visit one of our dental competence centres, we collect personal data from you. We require medical data to be able to carry out and document correct diagnosis and treatment.

Use of own cookies

When certain pages are accessed, a so-called "session cookie" is set. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer at the end of the browser session. The sole purpose of this file is to enable you to use certain applications. You can change the settings in most web browsers so that your browser does not accept new cookies or you can have cookies that you have received deleted. Server log files

As with every connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider Metanet AG in Zurich, Switzerland, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request, including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to make our website available to you. The web hosting provider uses technical and organisational measures to protect this data from unauthorised access and does not pass it on to third parties. Buttons ("social media plugins") may be placed on this website that establish contact with the servers of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). By clicking on one of these buttons, necessary data such as IP address, visit to the website, etc. are transmitted to the respective operator of the social network.

newsletter

If you have registered for our newsletter with your email address, we will store and use your email address to send you our newsletter with information and advertising about us until you unsubscribe from our newsletter.

For our newsletter service, we use the newsletter service "Brevo" from Sendinblu SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France.

If you enter your e-mail address to receive the newsletter, it will first be stored by Brevo for the purpose of sending the owner an e-mail in which he/she can confirm the subscription to the newsletter ("double opt-in"). After such confirmation, the e-mail address will be stored permanently by Brevo until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or until it is deleted by us. Brevo stores the date of registration and the IP address used to register. Your IP address will not be used for any other purpose.

We would like to point out that the data collected and used via Brevo is stored and processed on computers in the EU. By giving your consent to receive our newsletter, you agree to this. In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Brevo on the basis of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses. Your e-mail address will not be passed on to third parties in any other way.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. An unsubscribe link is included in every email containing our newsletter. You can also revoke your consent to the use of your e-mail address for the future at any time. To do so, please use the contact details below.

Webshop

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for subsequent contract processing, the webshop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner as part of cookies, as well as the name, address and means of payment of the buyer.

In addition, the following data is also stored by us for the purpose of processing the contract: desired shipping method, other comments on the purchase. The data provided by you is required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude the contract with you without this data. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations.

After cancellation of the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (10 years). The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years).

This website may contain links to websites of other providers. Our dental practice has no influence on these websites, their content, offers or availability or the data protection declarations and provisions applicable there. It therefore disclaims all liability.

Communication options

The website of our competence centres contains certain information that enables quick electronic contact and direct communication, which also includes a general e-mail address. If you contact us via the communication options offered on our website, your contact details and content will only be used to process and respond to your enquiry.

  • Financial and billing data: 10 years (tax and accounting obligations)

After the deadlines have expired, the data is securely deleted or anonymised.
